After an all night flight from Orlando, we arrived in Manchester. Our plans to meet up with Frank and Christy Sharp in the Manchester Airport were thwarted by construction which had obliterated the place where we had decided to meet. Fortunately, we made contact by phone, met and headed to Brownhills Farm where Hawkeye was moored just north of Market Drayton. After unpacking, settling in and deciding we would "tuff it out" and stay up all day to get ourselves in sync with local time, we decided to drive into Market Drayton to shop for groceries, mailing equipment and other things needed for the next couple of weeks on Hawkeye. Came back to Hawkeye in the late afternoon beginning to sag from 20 hours without sleep. We just hung out for the rest of the evening, then turned in early.
